8d-closures was established in 2000 to design closure systems for the automotive industry. Our focus is on safety through innovation and we hold multiple patents and an impressive portfolio of homologations.

Many of our latches, handles and door modules are now in production across the world for some of the largest OEM's including Ford Motor Company and the VAG Group.

Drawing upon many years of experience working in Europe, Asia and North America for both OEM's and Tier 1 suppliers 8d-closures offers a unique and comprehensive service to the automotive industry. We also have experience of chairing the SAE International Closures Committee for several years.

Our client list includes Ford Germany, Ford NA, VAG, Volvo, JLR, Aston Martin, Webasto, Brose, Pressan, McLaren, Navistar, Paintbox, HUF, IAC Group, Koc Holdings, Ingersoll Rand and Modec. Whilst predominantly working in the UK, we also support customers locally in Germany, Italy and Turkey.
